# Agenda

The Agenda is the public running order — the screen for delegates, the green room, or a
registration desk. It shows what is on now and what is coming up, and needs no login.

Open it at the `/a/…` URL from the **Outputs** panel — see
[Share links](share-links.md).

## What it shows

The page is headed with your **room title** as the event name, the current time, and
the programme's **total running time**. Below that, three bands:

| Band | Contents |
| ------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Done** | Finished sessions, struck through and dimmed |
| **Now** | A large card for the live session with its countdown and status |
| **Coming up** | Everything still to come; the immediate next one is highlighted and labelled `next` |

The **Now** card carries a badge reading `ON AIR` or `STANDBY`, the session title, the
speaker (or "No speaker listed"), a large countdown coloured by phase, and a caption of
`REMAINING`, `OVERTIME`, `PAUSED`, or `SCHEDULED`.

Each row shows the planned start time (or `—` if the session has none), the title, and the
speaker. **Durations only appear when the Controller's `Duration` switch is on** — turn
it off if you would rather delegates not see how long each slot is.

Readers can pick **Light** or **Dark** themselves; the choice is remembered on their
device.

## Two things to tell delegates

> **Breaks are not listed.** Sessions marked as a break are hidden from the Agenda by
> design — the audience does not need "Staff changeover" on their programme. But breaks
> still consume time, so the listed start times will appear to have gaps in them. This
> is expected, not a bug.

> **Clock times read in the reader's own timezone**, not the room's. This is unlike
> every other surface in the app — the Controller and scheduled starts use the room's
> timezone. If your event has remote delegates in another zone, say so explicitly on
> your own comms rather than relying on this page.

## States you will see

| On screen | What it means |
| ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | ----------------------------------------- |
| "No items published yet" / "The programme appears here as soon as the team adds it." | The room has no sessions yet |
| "Link not found or expired." / "Ask the event team for a current Agenda link." | The link was removed, or the URL is wrong |
| "This programme could not be loaded." / "The link is valid. Retry in a moment." | Temporary data problem — reload |

## Getting it in front of people

The Agenda is the screen most worth distributing widely, because it is read-only and
carries no controls:

- Put the **QR code** from the Outputs panel on a holding slide or a printed sign at
  registration.
- It works fine on a phone, so it does not need a dedicated display.
- If you leave it on a green-room screen, remember it updates itself — no one needs to
  reload it.
